A gambling addict is driving his daughter to gymnastics. They are late, but the divorced father can’t help stopping at a betting shop, where he leaves the 9-year-old alone in the car. When he returns, she is gone. As he frantically searches for her, two police officers show up. They take him to the police station, where Bibi is already in custody. Why won’t the police let him see his daughter? Was it something she said? A scratch in the surface, a glimpse of aggression, pent-up emotions, an impulsive fib. Things break for big and small reasons, and sometimes they can’t be fixed.
